What if the venue does not have a piano?
This is never a problem. I have a full size Yamaha digital piano which sounds at least as good as the real thing and a top quality 2 speaker PA system.
Do you play requests?
Yes. Although my repertoire is extensive, it is advisable to discuss with me beforehand any special songs which you would like to hear. I will then make sure that they are incorporated into the performance.
What do you wear?
Formal evening wear (tuxedo) or lounge suit.
How much space do you need?
For solo piano around 6 square metres. For a trio or quartet, around 12 square metres.
How long does it take you to set up?
30 minutes for solo piano and duo, around 45 minutes for trio and quartet.
What are your fees?
Each engagement is different and performances will be tailored to your individual requirements, therefore it is not possible to offer a flat fee. Please contact me for further details.
How long do you play?
Again, much will depend on your specific requirements and this can be discussed at the time of your initial enquiry.
Where are you based and how far do you travel to play?
I am based in central Scotland and perform throughout Scotland.
